DRUID 2013 NFL Mock Draft 6.0

  1. Kansas City – Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M – “Goo goo g’joob”. Silly Walrus, Smith (Alex) is for kids.

  1. Buffalo - TRADEGeno Smith, QB, West Virginia –The Bills release Fitzpatrick and jump up for Geno. The price is right! Less than the cost the Redskins paid to move up and select RG3. Smith has a strong arm and offers intangibles. It’s a good year to be reminding people of Kaepernick!

  1. Arizona – TRADEE.J. Manuel, QB, Florida State – E.J. will “upside” into the job. Kolb was released. Hoyer may hold down the fort until Bruce completes reconfiguring the offense.

  1. Philadelphia – DeMarus Milliner, CB, Alabama – The Eagles cut Nnamdi. This year, Milliner is a top 5 pick.

  1. Detroit – Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State – The Lions are a pass rush away from the playoffs. The “Autobahn” will get a Chrysler commercial.

  1. Cleveland – Star Lotuelei, NT, Utah – If his heart checks out, the Browns luck out!
  1. Oakland – TRADE - Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan – This beast will put the Black back in Sabbath.

  1. Jacksonville - TRADEDion Jordan, DE/OLB, Oregon – If the Jag’s weren’t going to select Smith, then credit them for making chicken salad out of chicken sh-t.

  1. N.Y. Jets – Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida – The Jets defensive front will be the best in the division.
  1. Tennessee- Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma – “Yow” is a super freak.

  1. San Diego – Ezekiel Ansah, DE, OLB, BYU – Phillip Rivers wishes he had been traded to the Chiefs!

  1. Miami – Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State – X is the real deal.

  1. N.Y. Jets - TRADEBarkervious Mingo, DE/OLB, LSU – Idzik>Tanny

  1. Carolina –Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee – Big and Nasty.

  1. New Orleans – D.J. Fluker, OT, Alabama – Back to basics.

  1. St. Louis – Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia – Percy 2.0

  1. Pittsburgh – Keenan Allen, WR, California – Big target for Big Ben.

  1. Dallas– Kenny Vaccaro, S, Texas – Jerry’s prayers are answered. God must be a Cowboy.

  1. N.Y. Giants – Johnathan Cooper, G, North Carolina – You cannot view this pick in isolation. You must see this pick as 1 of 3. The Giants will draft an OL, DE, and S, in the first 3 rounds. They will be replacing Diehl/Bass, Tuck, and Rolle in 2014. They will select the best player remaining from these 3 positions in each round. The best available player is quantified by the variance between the available player and the diminishing pool of players projected as available with their next selection. I project the Giants taking Reid in the 2nd, and Montgomery, in the 3rd.

  1. Chicago – Arthur Brown, ILB, Kansas State – Reminds scouts of Urlacher.

  1. Cincinnati – Menelik Watson, OT, Florida State – OT = value

  1. St. Louis (from Washington)Desmond Trufant, CB, Washington – Can’t have enough corners.

  1. Minnesota – Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri - Solid

  1. Indianapolis – Chance Warmack, G, Alabama – Luck<Luck 2.0

  1. Minnesota (from Seattle)Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia – Ponder?

  1. Green Bay – Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame – Eifert>Finley

  1. Houston – Kawann Short, DT, Purdue – Short>Cody

  1. Denver – Johnathan Banks, CB, Mississippi State – Champ has lost a step.

  1. Damontre Moore, OLB, Texas A & M – Head-cases drop.
    New England –

  1. Atlanta – Tank Carradine, DE, Florida State – Pass rush required.

  1. San Francisco - Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee – Manningham?

  1. Baltimore – Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia – If they can, they will trade down to add picks, like they did last year.
