Dear Jerry,
Please accept my deepest and most
humble apology. I almost lost my mind, when the Jets moved up to grab
Hill. The Giants have, arguably, the most accurate deep passer in the
league, and with Mario moving on, no one to stretch the field. Yet,
while every other team was acting like jumping beans, you remained
still and let your quarry come to you. With 2 blinding moments of
truth, Randle and Hosley were in the bag.
While you were punching out
from another day at the office, Giant fans were left to process their
shame, for once more we had doubted. On whatever is held as holy
throughout the Tri-State area, for myself and for Big Blue Nation,
may we sincerely ask for your forgiveness?
