Last night the Mets (2-2) fell to the Miami Marlins (1-3) by the score of the 7-5.
Jeremy Hefner had a strong start going six innings and only giving up 1 Run as the strength of this team in the first week or so and should be going forward is obviously the starting pitching.
The bullpen struggles again last night surrendering 6 runs in 3 innings of work, this has become a theme in the Alderson administration.
Ruben Tejada looked atrocious in the field last night has he committed both mental and fielding errors and looked totally unfocused at times.

- Lucas Duda looked as clumsy as ever out in Left Field tonight as he misjudged a few balls.
- Collin Cowgill was not in the lineup last night as Jordany Valdespin got the start and lead-off and had a pair of hits for the Mets tonight.
- Murphy hit his first homer of the year as it was a 3 run shot that got the Mets back into the game in the 7th inning.
- The Mets rallied to score 2 more runs in the 9th but fell short loosing tonight's game 7-5.
