The musical chairs
continue in Green Bay with Ted Thompson in sole control of the
turntable; who will be sitting in the 90 chairs when training camp
starts remains uncertain. I am excited, and a bit anxious, about the
number of changes in the works after a dominant 15-1 season.

Chad Clifton (T), Scott
Wells (C), Nick Collins (S) and Matt Flynn (QB) gone, Donald Driver
(WR) and Ryan Grant (RB) still unsigned…and without offers from the
Pack, Mike Neal and Anthony Hargrove (both DL) on multi-game
suspensions, yet we have the rookie camp coming up next week, so
there is a chance the picture will start to clear soon.
Possible additions to the
team include any of the reportedly 14 undrafted free agents the
Packers have signed, and 30 other undrafted rookie camp invitees,
including University of Dubuque receiver Michael Zweifel (the NCAA’s
all-time leading receiver), NCAA Division III champion University of
Wisconsin-Whitewater punter, Kris Rosholt, and UW-W (and Rosholt’s)
long snapper, Casey Casper…and another Wisconsin boy Tyler Butzler
(G) of UW-Stout.
