The Hot Stove Season has kicked off and here’s an update:
· The GM meetings started today and will end on Friday November 9th.
· According to the team’s website Lucas Duda fractured his right wrist moving furniture last month. He underwent surgery but should be ready for the start of Spring Training.

· According to the team’s website the Mets have signed right handed relief pitcher Greg Burke to a minor league deal. This looks to be a depth signing for the team; however, Burke will receive an invite to Spring Training.
· According to the team’s website RA Dickey was voted the NL’s most outstanding pitcher by the MLBPA and was also named a finalist for this year’s Cy Young Award to be announced on November 14 along with Washington’s Gio Gonzalez and the Dodgers Clayton Kershaw.
· The Mets also announced that on Tuesday they have exercised their 2013 options on both RA Dickey and David Wright.
